What are College Loops?
Girls Who Code College Loops are university-level networks for college students interested in tech to support one another and help each other persist and succeed in the field. College Loops build belonging and community through meetings during the school year.

    College Loops provide college-aged students with exclusive opportunities to connect and build relationships with industry professionals and Girls Who Code corporate partners.

    The College Loops Fund is an opportunity to request funds in support of your Loop activities. The application for Spring 2025 is now open! To qualify you must be part of an active College Loop.

    Girls Who Code Talks

    "Girls Who Code Talks” is a virtual program for the Girls Who Code alumni community focused on protecting the pipeline during the COVID-19 crisis. Through live virtual events, newsletters and social media content, we will connect and support the Sisterhood as women navigate changes in their college, internship and career plans.

    Become A College Loops President
    College Loop Presidents are passionate campus leaders who are committed to reaching gender parity in tech.
    • How do I start a College Loop?
      If you're a student who is 18+ and currently enrolled at a US college or university, you can apply to start a College Loop and become a College Loop President.
    • What can I expect as a College Loops President?
      College Loops Presidents serve as on-campus leaders in the movement to close the gender gap in tech. As a College Loops President, you'll be responsible for recruiting members, hosting meetings using content created by Girls Who Code, and managing campus logistics like reserving meeting space and distributing swag.

    In the 2020-21 academic year, Girls Who Code will have 200 active College Loops on campuses across the country, serving thousands of students in tech.
